Honoring a Legacy
For over 20 years, Martha Dunlap and her husband, Gerry, built Divide and Conquer of East Texas with heart and purpose. Together, they led more than 450 estate sales and formed lasting friendships throughout the community. Gerry’s warmth and humor—especially in the garage—became a beloved part of sale days. Martha’s compassionate leadership and integrity shaped the company’s trusted reputation.
In June 2024, after losing Gerry unexpectedly, Martha decided to step back from leading the business. After much prayer and reflection, she chose to pass the torch to Denise Bain Graber and her husband, Bruce. As of January 2025, they are the new owners, committed to carrying on the legacy Martha and Gerry created.
Martha continues working with the team she helped shape, still offering her wisdom and deep care for families in transition. To every client and friend who supported her through the years, Martha shares this heartfelt message: “Your kindness has been a gift. Thank you for blessing us. To God be the glory.”

Today, Denise and Bruce lead Divide and Conquer with the same commitment to service, integrity, and community that Martha and Gerry instilled in the company from day one.
Born and raised in Tyler, Denise is honored to be back home after a brief time in Minnesota, bringing her husband, Bruce, along for this exciting new venture. They are grateful for the warm welcome from the Divide and Conquer team and the East Texas community and are eager to continue the work Martha began, maintaining the high standards and quality the company is known for.
